Simply Static, LLC executive Mark Roah spends his free time playing golf and tennis, running marathons, flying sailplanes (Roah is a member of the Soaring Society of America), fishing, boating, camping, and traveling. Roah’s active lifestyle is well illustrated by one of his favorite quotes, Bishop Richard Cumberland’s famous “It is better to wear out than rust out.”

The activity behind Roah’s dynamic pastimes and hobbies is also reflected in his varied and high profile professional history. Mark Roah has worked in a variety of firms in the Internet marketing and advertising industry: L90, Inc., Verapass Marketing, LLC, and Oversee.net. At L90, Roah served concurrently as Co-Founder, Director, and Senior Vice President of Business Development. With Verapass Marketing, Mark Roah held the position of Vice President of Business Development, and he served as a consultant with Oversee.net. Currently, Mark Roah holds the position of Senior Vice President of Business Development at Simply Static, LLC, a next-generation Internet media company that acquires, develops, and leverages Internet real estate (otherwise known as “web properties” or “domain names”).

Mark Roah earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from California’s San Francisco State University in May of 1992. While at San Francisco State, Roah was a member of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity and participated in intramural flag football.

When he needs to relax, Mark Roah enjoys reading, counting among his favorite titles The Omnivore’s Dilemma, Wikinomics, and The Pillars of the Earth. Mark Roah currently resides in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
