Mark Shockley is the President of Evolution Los Angeles and attended Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida, where he studied communications and journalism. After pursuing his education, Mark Shockley left Miami to direct and produced a documentary film, which he then used to obtain a job as an Associate Producer with VH1 in New York City. Soon, Mark Shockley began filming content for the F/X Network, known for producing such shows as It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Rescue Me, and Damages. During his time with F/X, Mark Shockley worked on numerous shows, including The Shield with Michael Chiklis.

Soon after, Mark Shockley began working for Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM), where he created content for large franchises involving the Rocky, Pink Panther, and James Bond films. Over time, Mark Shockley formed Evolution Los Angeles, a digital production company specializing in 21st century branded entertainment. Mark Shockley created and executed theatrical marketing campaigns for a number of large films, including the blockbuster James Cameron movie Avatar, which has grossed $2.5 billion in global sales.

The theatrical marketing campaigns offered by Mark Shockley and Evolution L.A. include electronic press kits, which are compilations of all marketable video, photo, textual, and audio content for press releases and media marketing, as well as viral marketing campaigns that utilize the ever-growing power of social media networks. Mark Shockley’s company also produces in-theater marketing trailers, cross-promotional events, film premiere highlights packages, DVD extras, behind-the-scenes content, and sizzle reels.

When Mark Shockley isn’t working, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and engaging in physical activities such as skiing, biking, and hiking. Some of his favorite books are The Razor’s Edge by W. Somerset Maugham and On the Road by Jack Kerouac. Mark Shockley also supports Greenpeace and the Natural Resources Defense Council.
