Following a successful career in the tool and die industry, Mark Sobot realized his ambition of opening a music recording studio. Founded in 2009, Mark’s Recording Studio is based in Northbrook, Illinois. Since opening his business, Mark Sobot has recorded a variety of genres, including rap, blues, rock, metal, and classical. In addition to his recording services, Mark Sobot also rents out rehearsal space to select Chicago area bands. A member of the Society of Professional Engineers, Mark Sobot continues to consult in the tool and die industry on a part-time basis. However, his primary focus is now music recording. Outside of his professional activities, Mark Sobot volunteers to help the underprivileged. During the holiday season, Mark Sobot participates in local food drive initiatives and volunteers with programs that send food to developing countries. Mark Sobot also donates to Disabled American Veterans and his local police and fire departments.
