SJ Stone Company’s Senior Consultant Mark Tighe is passionate about his job and his community. Mark Tighe spends his days making sure the objectives of SJ Stone Company’s clients are being achieved or exceeded. Mark A. Tighe specializes in Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance and has diverse experience working with insurance, financial service, food processing, distribution, trucking, and telecommunications companies to comply with the regulations. Mark Tighe formed a small consultancy nearly five years ago that was to become SJ Stone Company, and he strives daily to improve the company. Prior to his position at SJ Stone Company, Mark Tighe served as Director of Support Services for the gaming and hospitality firm Grace Entertainment and as an Internal Auditor for W.M. Grace Companies. Mark Tighe worked at the Grace Companies for some three years before taking the next step in his career, to become a consultant. Aside from his duties at the office, Mark Tighe, spends some of his free time at the St. Francis Xavier Parish/Church, where he has been a member for more than 20 years. Mark Tighe is a lector and Usher at Mass and is active in both the school and the parish. He coached boys and girls basketball for eight years. Mark Tighe was a member of Rotary Club #32 for more than six years. In addition to St Francis, he regularly supports World Vision Children’s Fund, Salvation Army, American Red Cross, Paralyzed Veterans, Catholic Relief Services, Knights of Columbus, Covenant House, Father Flannigan’s Boys and Girls Town, Mother Cabrini Home/Shrine, Bishop’s Annual Appeal, Allied Arts Fund, Special Olympics, St. Joseph Indian School, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Vitae Caring Foundation, and various other organizations. Through his involvement, Mark Tighe takes the time to show his dedication to the greater community. When he is not at the office, at church, or participating in various charitable events, Mark A. Tighe enjoys reading, walking/jogging, sports, home improvement projects and spending time with his wife and five children.
