Ms. Marlene Burns was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida and studied at the University of North Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Spanish. After graduating, Marlene Burns successfully pursued a number of different careers, which included working for an airline, a television station, and an investment company. However, Marlene Burns’ life changed when her fitness trainer suggested that she begin competing in physique shows. Since she was a child, Marlene Burns has led an active lifestyle by practicing gymnastics, cheerleading, and dance. More recently, Marlene Burns has been participating in weight training, spinning, and yoga. All of this hard work came to fruition when Marlene Burns won two regional physique competitions, opening the doors for her thriving modeling career. Shortly after leaving her corporate job, Marlene Burns had secured spreads in a number of popular national and international publications, including Maxim UK, Esquire Turkey, Planet Muscle Magazine, M Magazine, and Boating Magazine. Marlene Burns has appeared extensively in television ads for sportswear companies, hotels, and beauty companies, as well as a Kenny Chesney music video. Also working trade shows, Marlene Burns has appeared at the Barrett-Jackson Car Show & Auction, a Las Vegas gaming convention, the Miami International Boat Show, and the Miami Home & Garden Show, among others. Marlene Burns has trained with Darlene Wyatt Casting workshops and Jean Fowler’s Coach Works, where she became skilled with cold reads, improvisation, and other advanced acting skills. In addition to her degree from the University of North Florida, Marlene Burns has studied Broadcasting at Arizona State University and holistic medicine and herbology courses at the Clayton College of Natural Health. Marlene Burns is a published writer and an avid reader in her spare time, listing Wayne Dyer, Maxwell Maltz, Rory Freedman, and Kim Barnouin among her favorite authors.
