Marriah Star is completing a Ph.D. in political science. His dissertation combines his interests in international relations and comparative politics, developing a three-level game model that incorporates interstate, domestic, and transnational political actors, and applying that model to the interaction between the U.S., China and Taiwan. As an educator he teaches international relations, comparative politics and American politics. He is a social entrepreneur. He supports Americans for Informed Democracy, Ashoka, and Youth Venture, among other organizations. He is a regular expert guess on “Open”, a public affairs talk show airing Wednesdays at 10 am on Bronxnet.
