She was also a four-year varsity letter winner (2001-2005) on the U.V.A. Women’s Rowing Team. She served as a volunteer assistant coach working with the freshman team in 2006. Not only was Mary a Student-Athlete Mentor from 2003-2005, but she also worked as a Student-Mentor Graduate Assistant in 2006. She has been an active member of the Madison House Booster, a member of Sustained Dialogue, and is a Class Trustee at the University of Virginia. After completing her Masters in Health and Physical Education, Mary is currently teaching in the Henely Middle School, Charlottesville.
