Mary graduated from the University of Virginia in 2002 with a degree in Spanish and Government. As a student, she was a member of the University Guide Service, served as Senior Educator for the University Judiciary Committee, and was active within the Reformed University Fellowship. Mary was also involved with the Class of 2002 Trustees, the Women’s Center’s Young Women Leaders Program, Madison House, and Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. After graduation, she lived and worked in Charlottesville for two years as a Development Officer for the University’s Miller Center of Public Affairs. Soon after moving back to her hometown of Austin, TX, she worked as the Program Assistant to the Governor’s Mentoring Initiative. In March 2005, Mary moved back to Charlottesville, where she is currently working as an Assistant Director of Reunions and Class Activities at the UVA Alumni Association.
