Maryann Sahoury served as Director of Marketing and Special Events with Parisi Fitness Centers in New Jersey from 2001 to 2010, promoting close community relations for five Centers located in Midland Park, Fair Lawn, Morris Plains, Wayne, and Garwood. Working to drive revenue and increase membership sales, Maryann Sahoury developed extensive marketing channels and promotional literature.

She also coordinated internal events such as health club member parties, quarterly and yearly staff meetings, and annual employee holiday festivities. For the latter event, she even handled the gift-giving arrangements. One important aspect of Parisi Fitness Centers’ community outreach activities involved fundraisers. Maryann Sahoury managed annual fundraising events in support of institutions such as houses of worship, area schools, and chambers of commerce.

She also partnered with nonprofit organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Community FoodBank of New Jersey, Drums from Heaven, and Toys for Tots, helping raise awareness and create revenue opportunities. Maryann Sahoury held additional responsibilities as a point person, managing Parisi Fitness Centers’ website and social media content. Maryann Sahoury attended William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey, obtaining a B.A. in Psychology in 2010.

With over 11,000 total students, William Paterson University has been serving the continuing education needs of Northern New Jersey residents since 1855. Maryann Sahoury supports a number of charitable organizations, including the Second Chance Pet Adoption League and Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc., a no-kill shelter in Bergen County that finds homes for pets that have been neglected, abused, or abandoned.
