Matt is a 2006 graduate of the University of Virginia where he studied pre-med and participated in various business and scientific pursuits. His past experiences include:
(1) Leading fundraising campaigns across five University non-profits.
(2) Self-starting a successful painting business.
(3) Living on Jefferson’s Lawn other chosen seniors.
(4) Conducting analytical research resulting in co-authorship of published scientific papers.

After graduating, Matt worked at the $10m Virginia-based non-profit, International Cooperating Ministries, which focuses on international church development in 46 countries. In traveling to over a dozen countries around the world, he grew his business acumen through international relationship-building and implementation of a successful online marketing strategy. Matt has had a continual focus on gaining practical business experience and he has a long-time interest in the healthcare industry, where he hopes to make an impact on provider delivery services.

Matt has continued to pursue his career goals at Ernst & Young, where he worked with hospital systems, healthplans, and pharmaceutical companies to manage revenue and develop regulatory and compliance programs around Medicare Part D and the pharmaceutical supply chain. Now, he hopes to continue his path at Booz Allen Hamilton, working with the government health system.
