Experienced in film and theater production, Mckenzie Fergus is a public relations student at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. Ms. Fergus transferred to the school from McMurry University in Abilene, where she served as Film and Editing Club Vice President and was a member of the Web Site Production Club. She was also active on the University’s ski team and directed the Valentine’s Madness event on campus.

Mckenzie Fergus’ experience in theater includes lead roles in productions of Peter Pan, Cinderella, and Oklahoma! She has also been featured in lead and supporting roles in a number of independent film productions in Austin, Houston, and Dallas. Ms. Fergus’ theatrical, film, and directorial work builds on training at the Weist-Barron-ACTeen Academy in New York, at CBS Comedy Studios in Los Angeles, and at Kim Dawson Studios in Dallas.

In addition to her acting, Mckenzie Fergus’ professional experience includes an office position with Star Dodge auto dealership in Abilene from April 2010 to May 2011. From 2009 to 2010, she held secretarial responsibilities with the law offices of Fergus & Fergus, LLP. She also worked with the U.S. Census Bureau in Abilene as a Numerator in 2010, organizing collected data.

As a student at Abilene High School, Ms. Fergus served as Debate Club President and assisted the YMCA through the Tri-Hi-Y Club. She also volunteered with the Philharmonic Orchestra for four years, and was a member of her high school’s Homecoming and Prom Committees. Her volunteer activities extended to hospice fundraising and trash pickups in local neighborhoods. As a university student, Mckenzie Fergus has continued to participate in community activities, volunteering with the Church under the Bridge and Family Abuse Center in Waco.

An outdoor enthusiast, Mckenzie Fergus enjoys water sports such as kayaking, canoeing, jet skiing, and boating. She also regularly participates in running events, having taken second place in her age category at the 2009 Big D Texas half-marathon event in Dallas. Ms. Fergus traveled through Europe in the summer of 2011, running in a half-marathon event in Edinburgh, Scotland. Ms. Fergus enjoys music and theatrical live performances, and considers Death Cab For Cutie, Jimmy Eat World, the Foo Fighters, and Coldplay among her favorite bands.
