Writer, Editor, and Educator in Atlanta
Melissa Aberle-Grasse is a writer, editor, and educator. She began her career working in communications with Publishing Directions and later for Bread for the World in Washington, DC. Seeking to work more hands-on with the nonprofits for whom she writes, she served as Co-Director of a service-learning program for Eastern Mennonite University. From 2003-2007, she lived with her family of four in Malawi, where she wrote success stories and managed communications projects for CARE, USAID, and local nonprofits. Now in Atlanta, she continues to write and teach writing with the Georgia state university system. Local writing clients include Emory University’s Medical School.
