Meredith Price grew up in Ellicott City, MD. From 1997-2001 Meredith attended North Carolina State University on a full athletic scholarship. While serving as team captain for two years and MVP for one, she also graduated as a valedictorian with a B.S in Biochemistry and a minor in Spanish. Selected as one of the first 40 Gates Cambridge Scholars in 2001, Meredith studied the History and Philosophy of Science and obtained a Ph.D. in 2006. After taking a break to wrap up her thesis, Meredith again started back to school at McMaster in Ontario to pursue her M.D.
