Michael Lerch is the founder and CIO of Evolution Capital Management, an investment advisor based in Los Angeles with additional offices in Tokyo and Hong Kong. Before starting Evolution in 2002, Michael worked at different investment banks in Japan where he specialized in equity and equity derivative trading. During that time, he was in charge of trading desks at Lehman Brothers, Credit Agricole and Merrill Lynch. Michael graduated from Princeton University in 1993 where he was also a stand out in the Varsity Football program. He was a two time First Team All Ivy League selection and recipient of the William Winston Roper Trophy his senior year.

    Princeton Football: -Received a vote for 1992 Heisman Trophy Award -Winner of the William Winston Roper Trophy ‘93: Awarded annually to a Princeton senior man of high scholastic rank and outstanding qualities of sportsmanship and general proficiency in athletics. -All-Ivy League -1991 Michael Lerch ’ 93 sets two Division I-AA records in a 59-37 win at Brown. Lerch sets the records for receiving yards in a game with 370 and all-purpose yards with 463, amassing those yards on just nine catches, including touchdown receptions of 64, 79, 90 and 45 yards. -Lerch led Princeton in scoring two consecutive years (1991 and 1992), was named to the All Ivy League Team (1991 and 1992), was selected Ivy League Back of the Year (1992), set a still-standing NCAA record for receiving yards in one game (398), and led his team to consecutive Ivy League championships (1991 and 1992).
