About Michael SauvanteMichael Sauvante has accumulated more than 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur. Recognized as an expert in new venture start-ups, Michael Sauvante has founded several successful companies. Branching out, Michael Sauvante established Interconnect Options, a company whose focus was telecommunications systems. Entering real estate, Sauvante launched Warm Springs Development Associates, which became a leader in the development of a 700-acre Fremont, California-based high technology industrial park. Furthering his reputation as one of Silicon Valley’s most prolific entrepreneurs, Michael Sauvante directed I.E.S. Construction Services, a company that catered to the construction industry’s heavy equipment sector. While working for HP Labs, Michael Sauvante designed and implemented a business development venture that created a smoother environment for transitioning products from HP Labs to the marketplace. His project was innovative enough to garner the interest of Harvard professor and author Clayton Christensen, who wrote “The Innovator’s Solution” and “The Innovator’s Dilemma.” So groundbreaking was Sauvante’s idea that Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute wished to use the project as the foundation for a Ph.D., but Michael Sauvante elected to put those plans aside to form a new company: Rolltronics Corp. In addition to Rolltronics, Michael Sauvante founded VoltaFlex Corp. and InnoSigns. Sauvante’s intended purpose with these companies was to influence the “roll-to-roll” methodology of manufacturing. Sauvante later founded Seertech Corp. and fused these three companies. Currently, Michael Sauvante is Executive Director of the Commonwealth Group. Michael Sauvante's Schools
