Gifted executive Michael Vanin has accumulated a track record of distinguished success across three industries: education, financial management, and information technology.

A cum laude graduate of the University at Albany, Michael Vanin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology before joining the faculty at the Green Vale School in New York. Teaching honors-level chemistry and biology, Michael Vanin also excelled in his role as Dean of Upper School. Responsible for every aspect of student life, Michael Vanin made a number of key improvements in administrative processes at the Green Vale School that resulted in improvements to the application and admissions process. Michael Vanin also demonstrated his characteristic skill at metrics development and data gathering by introducing a quantifiable matrix providing insight from staff and graduated students.

Michael Vanin’s time in finance was spent at Prudential Securities, where he spent more than a decade as one of the company’s top performers, and at Mercury Wealth Management, where he was a charter member. As Branch Manager at three of Prudential’s most strategic locations, Michael Vanin delivered continual increases in productivity and profitability. Mercury Wealth Management also benefited immensely from Michael Vanin’s analytic insight and guidance. As Principal and Senior Vice President, Michael Vanin established standards and goals for the boutique brokerage start up, intended to drive growth.

Most recently, Michael Vanin has been involved with EMC as a Senior Program Manager and Global Alliances Manager in the Program Mangement Office. Implementing process improvements for EMC’s top 100 Global Relationships, Michael Vanin created a business model within Global Alliances that helped lead to a 50% revenue increase in only 2 years. Michael Vanin served on the team that was the “face of EMC” to Dell for several years, demonstrating his commitment to both partners and to their mutual business goals.

Michael Vanin now resides in Westwood, Massachusetts, where he enjoys a diverse set of hobbies, mostly including gardening. Michael Vanin has finished 2 marathons and cycled through Spain. Michael Vanin is dedicated to his community, currently serving on the Vestry of St. Andrews Church, and he has served on the Board of Overseers of the Boys and Girls Club, Boston.
