About Nan Goheen
Passionate about helping others, Ms. Nan Goheen wields over 35 years of professional experience in psychology, counseling, and teaching. Nan Goheen most recently served as a Psychologist at a Kentucky-based private practice. In this capacity, Nan Goheen spearheaded the development of numerous psychotherapy and creative writing groups designed to provide artists with a creative outlet. An accomplished hypnotherapist, Nan Goheen primarily focuses her practice on hypnosis for birth, surgery, and healing. Prior to entering individual private practice, Nan Goheen teamed with another doctor to open a private clinical practice as a Psychologist. Nan Goheen provided psychotherapy designed to treat issues ranging from family crises to various women’s issues. In addition to leading patients through goal assessment and life direction sessions, Nan Goheen also utilized alternative holistic therapies. In addition to her numerous roles as a Psychologist, Nan Goheen has taught classes at schools such as Watterson College, New Mexico Highlands University, and the University of Colorado. Nan Goheen matriculated at Norwich University, from which she graduated with her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. Nan Goheen additionally holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from New Mexico Highlands University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tulane University. Beyond her professional endeavors, Nan Goheen enjoys a diverse range of hobbies, including organic gardening, traveling, hiking, and swimming. An avid reader, Nan Goheen counts the works of Ann Tyler, Carl Jung, Margaret Atwood, and John Steinbeck among her favorites. Nan Goheen currently resides in Prospect, Kentucky
