Her skills, acquired through prominent positions with AOL Time Warner Corporation and Airline Tariff Publishing Company (ATPCO), reflect a strong ability to lead, direct, and manage people and provide answers to the toughest of IT questions.

DiPietro’s work with ATPCO, as Director of Development and Quality Management, involved the direct management of 100 employees in the implementation of a massive Technology Transformation initiative. This wide reaching initiative required, in part, the complete re-architecture of the ATPCO Fares System from a CICS COBOL architecture to a distributed Java/J2EE architecture.

In her personal life, Nancy DiPietro is an avid runner and fitness enthusiast having completed the Marine Corps Marathon in 1991, 2001, and 2007. DiPietro also completed the 2006 Luray Olympic Triathlon finishing second in the 40-44 female age division. DiPietro’s family is equally active, with her husband Larry guiding her children Casey and Matt to successfully complete the Sprint distance of the Luray Olympic triathlon.

    Management Consultant
    Directed a strategic initiative to deliver a Program Management Office (PMO) strategy assessment, focused on improving project time-to-market and transforming the PMO processes and procedures within a large insurance organization. Responsible for directing a team to deliver gap analysis and 12-month roadmap. Delivered executive findings to key stakeholders and successfully cultivated executive-level relationships with business and IT sponsors and peers. Led a strategic initiative to transform the QA and testing organization, processes, and procedures at a large US Healthcare organization. Delivered executive findings, supported by a $10MM business case and 12 month roadmap for achieving the business case.
  • Airline Tariff Publishing Company 2006 - 2007
    Director, Application Development and Quality Assurance
    Directed a 100-person Development and Quality Management team as part of a $35MM Technology Transformation initiative to re-architect the ATPCO Fares systems from CICS COBOL to Java/J2EE running on a WebSphere Application Server. Leadership responsibilities included development and testing of the Technology Transformation initiative, strategic development projects, and application modifications to existing systems as defined by internal product marketing team. Leadership responsibilities also include establishing and implementing Configuration & Release Management competencies.
  • AOL Time Warner Corporation 2004 - 2006
    Senior Director, Video and Online Advertising
    Directed the AOL Video Systems and Advertising Systems development team over a 2 year timeframe. Responsible for directing the development and architecture activities for 50-100 developers, architects, and technical analysts and for managing a $10MM annual budget. Tasks included development of new business applications and systems, scheduled maintenance, and routine modifications to existing systems as defined by internal business partner.
  • AOL Time Warner Corporation 2004 - 2006
    Vice President, Chief of Staff, CTO
    Provided strategic advice and oversight to the CTO in dealing with a range of staff, organizational, procedural, and budget issues and affairs. Working with the CTO, led institutional planning and organizational development initiative to effectively accomplish organizational objectives. Directed significant technology program activities for the CTO, including providing coordination and oversight for core initiatives and special projects for the AOL technology organization.
