Nick graduated from MSU in May and moved to D.C. for the summer before moving to the U.K. in the fall with his fiancee. Nick graduated with a dual major in International Relations and Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy with a specialization in Muslim Studies. Nick studied Arab language in Egypt in the fall of 2006 at American University in Cairo. In the summer of 2007, Nick circumnavigated the world on a research grant as a Circumnavigators Club Scholar. Nick conducted interviews and on-the-ground interviews with local Muslim community organizations in five countries in over six different languages. His senior thesis researched the role Muslim civil society organizations play in Muslim minority communities. Nick’s other research interests include immigration and refugee policy, civilizational studies, interfaith dialogue, and cross-cultural studies.
