A former teacher, coach and superintendent, Dr. Nick Trombetta leverages over two decades in the education sector toward his current position as Chief Executive Officer of the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School. As CEO of PA Cyber, Dr. Trombetta is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the fully accredited online learning center. He ensures that teachers work with students to deliver a meaningful and challenging education and also liaises with other education professionals to increase the scope and effectiveness of online education. Trombetta effectively manages an online K-12 school with over 7,000 students. He also played a key role in the development of the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center, a cultural campus serving the educational and cultural needs of western Pennsylvania. Dr. Trombetta founded the National Network of Digital Schools, evincing his commitment to online learning and effective entrepreneurship.

A civic leader, Trombetta supports various local organizations to improve the lives of his fellow citizens. He has worked with or donated to the University of Slippery Rock, the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference and the Community College of Beaver County. He has also supported the Lou Holtz Museum and the Beaver County NAACP.

Dr. Nick Trombetta took his Doctoral Degree in Education Administration from the University of Pittsburgh in 2000. Trombetta also studied Education Administration at the Masters level at the University of Dayton. For his undergraduate work, Nick Trombetta studied Education and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Slippery Rock State University.

In his free time, Dr. Nick Trombetta enjoys skiing, travel and supporting the Pittsburgh Steelers. A gifted orator, he also frequently gives lectures and speeches on online learning and the future of education. He is also involved in politics and is an advocate for improved education and special needs learning.
