Nubi Olubunmi Ayoola is a research officer of the Physical & Chemical Oceanography Department, Nigerian Institute for Oceanography & Marine Research, Lagos, Nigeria. His area of interest is environmental management and toxicology – monitoring and determining the levels of pollutants in the environment to ascertain their toxicological effects. He has actively participated in Environmental & Health Impact Assessment studies of developmental projects in the oil and gas sector, energy and telecom sector, as well as Environmental Audit of industrial establishments. This is in addition to his exposure to international workshops, seminars, short courses, and oceanographic cruises on environmental pollution monitoring.
