About Olun Graves

Olun Graves launched his distinguished law-enforcement career in San Diego, California. As an Officer with the San Diego Police Department (SDPD), Olun Graves engaged in criminal investigations and gained valuable law-enforcement experience. While in San Diego, Olun Graves also participated with the Homeless Outreach Team (HOT). Olun Graves’ remarkable work with people in need of housing eventually earned him recognition through a local advocacy agency. Additionally, former HOT SDPD Officer Olun Graves attracted a variety of media attention. San Diego Magazine featured Olun Graves in a piece entitled, “Down and Out in Balboa Park.” In the 2006 article, author S.D. Liddick discusses his interaction with then SDPD Officer Olun Graves. Officer Olun Graves was uniquely helpful to the journalist, who was conducting an extended experiment in homelessness at the time.

Officer Olun Graves worked with the SDPD following the completion of his formal education. He earned a Master’s degree from the University of San Diego in Leadership Studies. Prior to securing his graduate degree, Olun Graves attended San Diego State University. Before his time at San Diego State University, he was recruited to play football for Utah State University from San Diego’s James Madison High School.

Olun Graves now serves as a Special Agent with the California Department of Justice. In the role, Olun Graves effectively contributes to the reduction of Southern California crime. Since joining the California Department of Justice, Olun Graves has been involved with an array of criminal investigations. Olun Graves’ exceptional work in law enforcement has included the targeting of gangs, fraud, gaming, and elder abuse. Olun Graves maintains membership with the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association and volunteers with the Meals-On-Wheels Association of America. Currently, Olun Graves works in Los Angeles and resides in Studio City, California.
