Prominent property developer Pamela Samuels was honored as a member of the Top 50 Women in Real Estate.New York, New YorkNew York City development executive Pamela Samuels is one of three principals who make up TRIO Partners LLC, a real estate development firm focused on acquiring and redeveloping urban residential properties. TRIO Partners was founded by respected leaders in the industry, who joined together to establish a firm with the vision and flexibility to thrive in today’s economic climate. Ms. Samuels’ personal success in urban development stems from her knowledge of the financial aspects of a project combined with her design and engineering experience. Based on her diverse contributions to the field, Pamela Samuels has been honored as a member of the Top 50 Women in Real Estate by the Association of Real Estate Women. Prior to the founding of TRIO Partners in 2010, Pamela Samuels was employed by Extell Development Company. Gary Barnett, the company’s founder, initially recruited Ms. Samuels to Extell as a Senior Vice President, and she soon advanced to become Managing Director. While at Extell, Pam Samuels led the development of several complex, innovative projects. Among these is One57, a 74-story, mixed-use tower that, when completed, is expected to redefine the Central Park skyline. Ms. Samuels also headed a multi-billion-dollar public-private partnership to build a transportation hub underneath a proposed 60-story office complex. Pamela Samuels came to Extell after working with The Clarett Group, first as Vice President and then as Managing Director. Her efforts with The Clarett Group focused on residential high-rise development, although she also worked in acquisitions, obtaining a number of highly desirable locations for the company that included a site directly off of Central Park. Ms. Samuels’ skillful leadership contributed to the company’s quadrupling in size during her tenure there. Earlier in her career, Pam Samuels worked for Rockrose Development Corp. and Tamarkin & Co., concentrating on residential rental and condo development with both employers and gaining experience with a variety of aspects of development, from planning to negotiations to project completion. Before moving to New York, Ms. Samuels managed commercial-to-residential conversions for Houston-based firm Q-Ratio Texas, Inc. Her first employer was Sotheby’s auction house.
