Based out of North Palm Beach, Florida, Pamplin Film Company is a full-service film development, production, and marketing corporation that has been in business since 1994. Pamplin Film Company began in Orlando, Florida, as the brainchild of filmmaker Rick Pamplin. Mr. Pamplin is a screenwriter, director, actor, producer, and entrepreneur who has worked in the entertainment industry for over three decades.

In the 14+ years Pamplin Film Company has been in existence, the company has been involved with several hit movies, including Hoover, a feature film starring Oscar-winning actor Ernest Borgnine. Hoover put Borgnine in the role of former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, and the film was a big boost to Rick Pamplin’s already impressive career as a director. Pamplin appeared on the Oscar and Directors Guild of America ballots for Best Director for his work on Hoover. Pamplin Film Company also produced the 1999 hit Michael Winslow Live, which subsequently received the award for “Outstanding Cinematic Achievement” from the Academy of Family Films and Television.

Pamplin Film Company has gone to great lengths to give back to the surrounding community. PFC offers Educational Internships through the University of Florida and the University of Central Florida, among other accredited institutions. The Pamplin Film Company has been a sponsor of the Florida Film Festival and is a certified production company in the state of Florida. The Pamplin Film Company has been lauded by the Florida Motion Picture & Television Association and strives to strengthen the creative Floridian community.
