Pat Boss is the CEO and President of Cascade Consulting Group, is a Pacific Northwest-based, full-service consulting firm specializing in professional consulting for companies, trade associations, quasi-government entities, and nonprofits, particularly in the areas of government affairs, business development, public relations, fundraising and event organization. In his roles, Pat Boss has been intensely involved with many of the above mentioned areas for clients. Over the past several years, Mr. Boss has developed Cascade Consulting Group into a comprehensive consulting firm capable of supplying expert knowledge and support to individual businesses, non-profits, government entities, and trade associations. For example, Cascade Consulting Group recently spearheaded a major lobbying effort on behalf of an irrigators’ association that led to the passing of the historic Columbia River water legislation. Mr. Boss has also directed Cascade Consulting Group’s efforts to coordinate a community-driven lobbying campaign to acquire funding to help upgrade and expand a vital rail line in the Pacific Northwest. Further focused on improving infrastructure for residents in the local area, Cascade Consulting Group and Pat Boss secured funding for an important freeway interchange project in Eastern Washington for a highway safety alliance and for a pedestrian underpass project in Central Washington. Pat Boss has also helped secure grants for clients to do marketing activities, such as a wine promotion campaign in the Columbia Basin, a vegetable promotion campaign in British Columbia, and natural beef marketing campaign in Spokane, Washington. Mr. Boss also formed a rural technology development coalition to help support legislation that would provide tax incentives for technology companies wanting to locate facilities in rural areas of Washington State. Pat Boss has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. As much a successful businessperson as he is a philanthropist, Pat Boss is involved with several charities and has helped organize and coordinate some major food bank donations from a charitable organization to several food banks in the Pacific Northwest.
