A decades-long resident of Silicon Valley in California, attorney Pat Meyering possesses many years of legal acumen and representation. He has taught environmental law at De Anza College and administrative law at the University of San Francisco. Pat Meyering formerly served as a Foreign Service Officer in England, Scotland, Italy, and Pakistan.

After graduating from law school, Pat Meyering served four years with the county public defender’s office. As a busy trial lawyer, Mr. Meyering provided top legal aid to an often-underserved segment of the community. In his day-to-day duties, he argued legal motions, organized investigations, presented evidence, and examined witnesses. On several occasions, he was called on to argue appellate cases.

Today, Pat Meyering serves the Silicon Valley community as an experienced attorney, providing representation for legal cases and appeals. His duties include preparing motions, written discovery, and pleadings, as well as taking and defending depositions. An advocate of clients’ rights, Mr. Meyering identifies legal issues and completes thorough research of case law, ensuring the best possible outcome for each individual. Offering many years of experience in trial preparation, court proceedings, and appeals, he has contributed numerous articles to industry publications and assisted county officials with the development of sexual harassment laws and regulations for supervisory personnel.

Pat Meyering supports the Ronald McDonald House Charities in efforts to provide housing for families of children who are ill. He also has been a member of the League of Women Voters and served on the American National Red Cross’ Leadership Panel. Mr. Meyering holds membership with the State Bar of California and the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States.
