During his 25-year career as a Senior Environmental and Industrial Hygienist, Patrick Moffett has built a reputation as a highly competent environmental assessment and remediation professional. In addition, Patrick Moffett has demonstrated a unique communicative talent, twice earning the Gold Quill Award for his collection of published books, technical articles, and white papers. Recognized as an expert in cause and origin and cause and effect as determining factors in property damage, Mr. Moffett is highly experienced with cases involving pipe and sewage line fractures, water damage, mold, fire, and natural disasters such as mudslides and hurricanes.

Patrick Moffett joined the Huntington Beach, California-based Environmental Management & Engineering, Inc., in 1995, where he serves as a specialist in situations of small and large property losses involving homes, schools, industrial buildings, and catastrophic events that affect entire communities. Working with police and fire departments as well as federal agencies such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency, Mr. Moffett arranges and oversees many types of cleanup processes.

Patrick Moffett has been recognized by several prominent organizations for his substantial contributions to the industry. In 2009, he received the Bill Bailey Memorial Award for his cooperative spirit as well as an award from the American Bio Recovery Association for his professional endeavors. For his efforts in meeting industry mold standards, Patrick Moffett earned an award sponsored by the American National Standards Institute and the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC). Mr. Moffett is an approved IICRC Instructor, and he holds master’s certifications in water, fire, and smoke odor remediation.
