Payal Arora has eight years of extensive professional and research experience in technology, media and communications in the United States and India. She has worked on award winning media projects including hp’s “i-community” or digital village in rural Andhra Pradesh, Kellogg sponsored speech literacy software production in NY to NIH sponsored mediated arts experiences and mental health post 9/11. Much of her work has appeared in peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and conference proceedings. She has a Masters in International Policy in Education from Harvard University and is currently doing her doctorate in Language, Literacy and Technology from Teachers College-Columbia University.
