As the founder and CEO of Winefellow, Peter Tripp is bridging the worlds of wine and technology, with a concept unlike any other—making use of technology to customize, personalize, and ultimately optimize the wine tasting experience for wine lovers. With its systematic approach to understanding the basics behind wine, a Winefellow wine tasting is a singular experience—one that is enjoyable and educational for each and every individual in attendance. By combining state-of-the-art technology and wine tasting events, Winefellow encourages a greater appreciation and greater understanding of wine’s intricacies. At the conclusion of a tasting, the Winefellow Insight Database creates a personal wine tasting profile for each of the event’s attendees, that includes wine rating comparisons and wine recommendations based on the bottles each participant has—through the course of the tasting—personally enjoyed.

A natural-born leader, Peter Tripp has been an innovator throughout his career. In the past, Mr. Peter Tripp worked for Unisys, a worldwide information technology consulting services and solutions company that combines expertise in consulting, systems integration, outsourcing, infrastructure, and server technology. Peter Tripp has served as the company’s Chief Strategy Officer, GOIS, Vice President, and Global Practice Leader. Tripp was educated at Syracuse University and at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the Wharton Society of Fellows.

Tripp lives in New York City, where he belongs to the Wharton Club of New York, the Penn Club of New York, and the DKE Club of New York. He is also involved with the New York-based Robin Hood Foundation, an organization that funds and supports programs that fight poverty by applying sound investment principles to philanthropic enterprises. In his spare time, Peter Tripp enjoys running, playing golf, and racing sailboats.
