Andrew Mellon Auditorium
The Andrew Mellon Auditorium is one of the finest classical buildings in America and one of DC’s most desirable venues for non-profit galas and corporate dinners. The Mellon can accommodate 200-650 guests for seated dinners and up to 1000 guests for receptions. It is a part of the Federal Triangle constructed during the 1930’s and dedicated in 1935 by Franklin Roosevelt, the auditorium is four stories in height. Fluted Doric columns surround the room, which is embellished with limestone pilasters, gilded relief carvings, and polished oak.
