Newseum

 

The Newseum is an interactive museum of news and journalism in Washington, D.C. Its stated mission is “to help the public and the news media understand one another better.” The Newseum’s operations are funded by the Freedom Forum, a nonpartisan foundation dedicated to “free press, free speech and free spirit for all people.” Galleries include exhibits from major broadcasters, a news room, Pulitzer Prize winning photographs, and many others that tell the story of the role the press plays in a free society.
