Washington, DC’s 20,000-seat arena hosts about 200 events each year, including concerts, family shows and athletic games. The modern entertainment complex, built in 1997, has featured concerts by top performers such as U2, Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Barbra Streisand, Bon Jovi, Prince, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Andrea Bocelli, and many more. The Center is home to the NBA’s Washington Wizards, the NHL’s Washington Capitals, the WNBA’s Washington Mystics, and the Georgetown Hoyas Men’s Basketball team.
