Scientist Dr. Pushpendra Kumar Panchal, PhD is an accomplished practitioner of both theoretical and experimental applied physics. Dr. Pushpendra Kumar Panchal earned his Doctorate in Physics from the Department of Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Delhi. He received his Master of Science degree in Physics, as well as his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University (formerly Agra University), Agra. Dr. Pushpendra Panchal served as a Project Fellow from 1999 to 2004 in the Department of Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Delhi, working on a research and development program for superconductivity funded by University Grants Commission (UGC). At the Indira Gandhi National Open University of Delhi, India, Dr. Pushpendra Panchal also earned a Master’s degree in Computer Applications. Current research efforts of Dr. Pushpendra Kumar Panchal involve multiple projects at Natural State Research, Inc. of Stamford, Connecticut. He is assisting in the study of the use of waste plastics as a potential source of alternative fuel and conducting theoretical studies of the growth of technologically important single crystals and epitaxial thin-films of superconductor materials. Dr. Pushpendra Kumar Panchal is responsible for designing and implementing technical procedures to further the company’s goals, documenting activities and findings, providing staff research guidance, and analyzing results. He is also responsible for evaluating new instruments and technologies, writing protocols and reports, conducting investigations into laboratory deviations, and training new employees in scientific research protocols. Dr. Pushpendra Kumar Panchal has published his research findings in the field of crystallography and superconductivity in leading physics journals such as Physica C: Superconductivity & its Applications, Journal of Crystal Growth, and Materials Chemistry and Physics. He has also written a chapter entitled “Growth and Characterization of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ High-Tc Superconducting Single Crystals” in a book entitled Superconductivity Research Horizons” published by Nova Science Publishers Inc. in 2007. Pushpendra Kumar Panchal has also refereed a manuscript in a journal of international repute, Materials Chemistry and Physics, published by Elsevier Science. Dr. Pushpendra Kumar Panchal is a recipient of an award for excellence in education and research from the Forum of Academics for Social Justice at the University of Delhi. Additionally, Dr. Pushpendra Kumar Panchal is a member of the American Physical Society, American Chemical Society, International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry, Nuclear Chemistry and Technology (a division of ACS) and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Inc. Dr. Pushpendra Panchal’s innovative thinking and skillful research will lead to the discovery of new innovative materials and the development of high performance superconductor devices.
