Rachel Chimera enjoys music, dance, and the theater, regularly attending concerts and dancing salsa, hip-hop, and tango. Her hobbies include hiking, camping, yoga, reading, and film. She spent two summers traveling across the American West, visiting national parks and camping with friends. An animal lover, Ms. Chimera enjoys the companionship of dogs and cats.

Ms. Chimera earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where she also participated in classes in English and women’s studies. She went abroad, spending semesters in Utrecht, Netherlands, where she studied literature, and in Madrid, Spain, where she studied theater and dance. Her travels through Europe and other continents have been extensive, and she maintains her ties to the international community through ongoing studies of French and Spanish.

Rachel Chimera often works as an Assistant Casting Director for industrial films and commercials. She previously assisted with a documentary and worked on the short films Godspeed and Jesse’s Reasons. Having acted in various plays, Ms. Chimera feels comfortable on the stage.
