Raj graduated from the University of Virginia with degrees in Economics and Mathmatics. During his time in University, he also was a member of a number of student organizations including the IMP Service Society, Raven Scholar Society, University Guide Service, and Honor Committee among other organizations. He was recognized as one of the top scholars and contributors to the University community by receiving the honor of living on UVA’s historical Lawn his final year. He joined McKinsey & Co in their Corporate Finance department in the fall of 1999. He attended graduate school at the Kennedy School of Government and the Kellogg School of Management and returned to McKinsey to continue to build his career in 2005.
