Washington, D.C. resident, Raj Prabhakar, serves as Executive Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development at Celsion Corporation, an oncology drug development firm located in Columbia, Maryland. Raj Prabhakar presently leads out-licensing and business development activities for Celsion Corporation, focusing on commercializing drug-development technologies for various cancer indications. In his operating and corporate role, Prabhakar undertakes a myriad of exigent duties, including project management and business development. Raj Prabhakar reports directly to the CEO of Celsion Corporation and works with the company’s clinical development and operations teams. Currently, Raj Prabhakar’s main concentration is accelerating the firm’s leading medicine to treat Hepatocellular Carcinoma (liver cancer), from the drug’s startup phase to a commercialization stage. Possessing international business dexterity, Prabhakar’s efforts in the development of the drug consist of establishing clinical trials across the international scope and pursuing global development and manufacturing across the North American and Asian continents.
