Dr. Rajendra Navalurkar is a Structural Department Manager with URS Corporation and holds licenses as a Professional Engineer in New York and New Jersey. Over the past decade and a half, Rajendra Navalurkar has established himself as a well-regarded member of his field. Currently, Rajendra Navalurkar’s projects include a $120 million rehabilitation of the Newark Bay Bridge, the preparation of the contract plans for the Driscoll Bridge over the Raritan River in New Jersey, and the rehabilitation of the main span, approaches, and ramps of the Brooklyn Bridge. Since beginning his career, Rajendra Navalurkar has proven himself an invaluable asset to a wide variety of clients and served as a Lead Project Engineer or Project Manager on myriad projects. A member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Society of Highway Engineers, Rajendra Navalurkar possesses proven expertise in the analysis of structural systems like tunnels, buildings, excavation support systems, and retaining walls. Earlier in his professional life, Rajendra Navalurkar contributed to projects like the Route 92 Connector with the New Jersey Turnpike and the Brooklyn Queens Expressway Rehabilitation. Rajendra Navalurkar obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the R.V. College of Engineering in Bangalore, India, before matriculating at the New Jersey Institute of Technology for his Master of Science and his Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering. Since 1996, Rajendra Navalurkar has also taught at the New Jersey Institute of Technology as an Adjunct Professor. A resident of West Orange, New Jersey, Rajendra Navalurkar reads and plays tennis in his spare time.
