Based in Santa Barbara, California, Essex Capital Corporation offers funding to private and public companies across the nation. The firm specializes in providing funding for companies seeking to acquire assets through lease rather than purchase. Capital Corporation maintains a skilled in-house sales force while working through an extensive network of brokers to achieve optimal equity financing for the firm’s clients. In the past 18 years, Essex Capital Corporation has provided funding for more than one billion dollars of leased equipment. Presently, the firm’s portfolio includes over 15 companies.

Highly accomplished in the financial services industry, Ralph Iannelli holds professional ties that date back over 25 years. Before founding Essex Capital Corporation, Ralph Iannelli served as a Principal at RAM Capital Corporation, a specialized investment banking firm. His more recent professional experience also includes serving as a Partner at American Computer Leasing Corporation. Earlier in his career, he held the position of Executive Vice President for Pitney Bowes Inc. and Nixdorf Computer and also held several management positions at IBM.

Beyond his current professional endeavors in asset management, Ralph Iannelli actively contributes to a wide range of local and national charitable causes. In Santa Barbara, he contributed to the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital as founding donor. He remains active as a Member of the Investment Committee with the Santa Barbara Foundation and also serves on the boards of Bishop Garcia Diego High School, Santa Barbara Police Activities League, Marymount of Santa Barbara and the Montecito Education Foundation.
