Ph.D. student in Political Science at The University of Florida
Ramón Galiñanes, Jr. is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Florida. Ramón became interested in history and politics at an early age and transferred this interest to teaching. In 2001, after graduating from Montclair State University with a degree in history, he was awarded a Gates Cambridge Scholarship to study at Cambridge University, where he ultimately obtained an M.Phil degree in Politics, Democracy and Education. After teaching history for four years at the high school and college level, Ramón returned to school at the University of Florida. Ramón is an avid traveler and adventurer.
