Providing sound financial advice and services to homeowners in the Phoenix, Arizona area, Raul Harris has built his business on honesty, accuracy, and integrity. Harris believes in providing low rates and low cost loans for his customers, making his company well trusted in the mortgage finance and real estate field. As CEO of Desert State Mortgage, Raul Harris oversees all operation phases and performs all Loan Officer duties. Harris serves his clients by providing timely and precise real estate and financial advice. Desert State Mortgage’s goal is to award the best loans in the industry without the stress of extensive paperwork and the high costs. Harris developed Desert State Mortgage from his prior experience as a branch manager at Wells Fargo Bank and American Home Mortgage, where he earned a top 5% customer service award. Harris is also a part of the National Mortgage Brokers Association. His exceptional banking experience equipped Raul Harris with the tools he needed to start his own firm. Prior to his work with Desert State Mortgage, Raul Harris was a member of the United States Air Force and attended the US Air Force Academy where he studied Engineering. Harris learned to fly planes during his military service, and he still has his pilot license today. Harris received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Air Force and entered The University of Advancing Technology to pursue his Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering. While in college, Harris was active in sports and earned an All American title for Track. Harris’ athleticism came from his days as a football player and track team member in high school. Today, Harris strives to teach the importance of education and achieving goals by mentoring at-risk Phoenix area high school students. Harris uses his military, Eagle Scout, and entrepreneurial experiences to relate to and inspire the students. In addition to his mentoring work, Raul Harris regularly donates to a Children’s Hospital.
