As a committed and compassionate care provider, Dr. Regina Edmond offers ob/gyn services from her private practice in Los Angeles. Open since 2008, the practice is located at 8737 Beverly Blvd., Suite 201. As the owner of the practice, Dr. Regina Edmond is involved in all aspects of care, from supporting management of the office to performing major surgeries. Dr. Edmond performs normal and cesarean deliveries, as well as gynecologic surgeries. Dr. Regina Edmond’s educational and professional career gives her extensive professional knowledge and experience, allowing her to provide compassionate and competent care to her patients.

Dr. Regina Edmond attended Spelman College in Atlanta from 1993 to 1997, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology. While attending Spelman, Dr. Edmond participated in a variety of extracurricular health-related activities. In 1995 and 1996, Regina Edmond volunteered with the Red Cross, demonstrating proper CPR and Heimlich Maneuver techniques to students. From 1994 through 1996, she worked as a certified aerobics instructor with the college, developing her own workout routine designed specifically to help students attempting to achieve a healthy body weight. In her senior year, she also worked as a laboratory technician with the Centers for Disease Control, where she helped screen newborns for hemoglobin abnormalities.

In 2002, Dr. Regina Edmond earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing. As a medical student, Dr. Edmond received both the Mid-Michigan Medical Society Foundation Scholarship for African-American Students and a W. Donald Weston Award for preclinical students. Following graduation from medical school, Dr. Regina Edmond spent a year in a post-baccalaureate program at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine.

Dr. Regina Edmond performed her residency at Los Angeles’ Martin Luther King, Jr./Drew Medical Center (now Martin Luther King, Jr. Multi-Service Ambulatory Care Center), where she gained extensive professional experience. Dr. Regina Edmond brings considerable accumulated knowledge and expertise to the care of her patients in Los Angeles.
