Contributing to his success as a businessperson, Rex G. Ahlstrom belongs to several professional organizations, including the MindShare Alumni, a local entrepreneurship organization. A sought-after speaker in the enterprise software field, Ahlstrom lectures and makes presentations both nationally and worldwide. Within his community, he enjoys coaching baseball and has managed many teams including the Herndon Optimist Youth Baseball (HOYB) Braves, Nationals, Orioles, and Phillies. Rex Ahlstrom also contributes to a number of organizations that provide aid to individuals in need, including Habitat for Humanity International and Melanoma Research Foundation.

In 1987, Rex Ahlstrom graduated from Philadelphia’s Drexel University with his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Upon receipt of his undergraduate degree, he attended The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, from which he received his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1992.

Today, Rex G. Ahlstrom serves as Vice President of Operations at SAP, having joined the company upon its acquisition of SOALogix Inc. He heads such initiatives as new product approaches for Asset Information Management and oversees the third-party ecosystem for the enterprise asset management sector.

Outside of his career, he takes pleasure in several activities, including scuba diving, skiing, exercising, softball, running, and playing the guitar. He also finds relaxation in woodworking.
