Sales executive Richard H. Bergman of Carmel, Indiana, currently serves as a Global MidMarket Sales Leader with International Business Machines, Inc. (IBM). Having been with IBM since 1980, Richard Bergman is currently responsible for driving sales through IBM Business Partner channels to the midmarket customer segment, and he participates on a global headquarters team.

During his time with IBM, Richard H. Bergman has held numerous leadership roles comprising both regional and global assignments. Richard Bergman’s duties in these positions have included sales, marketing, and business operations. IBM has recognized Richard Bergman’s success on many occasions, granting him Leadership Awards, 100% Club Awards, and several other accolades and promotions.

Prior to joining IBM, Richard Bergman spent two years conducting territory sales coverage for the Bankers Life Insurance Company. As a Group and Pension Representative, Richard Bergman sold group insurance and pension investment products through independent agents.

To supplement his successful career, Richard Bergman holds a Bachelor of Science from Millikin University in Business, with a concentration in Management and Marketing. Richard Bergman excelled academically, earning a place on the Dean’s List.
