With nearly 15 years of experience as an attorney with Fulbright & Jaworski LLP, Rick Rambo was one of 8 individuals recruited to join Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, firm expanding in Houston. In working with both firms, he developed a talent for patent and commercial litigation, representing a variety of industry-leading clients.

Rick Rambo’s notable cases in the area of patent infringement include representation of top computer manufacturers in matters involving computer architecture, graphics technology, cryptography, networking, online commerce, and modem technology. He has also represented numerous financial services companies, software and hardware companies, such as a leading DVD playback software supplier, in a variety of patent infringement case, which settled favorably for the client.

Due to his success in patent infringement trials, Rick Rambo has been invited to speak on patent infringement topics, including being invited to speak at The University of Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal Symposium in 2010. He presented a slideshow titled, Patent Damages: Remedies Available to Patent Holders. Rick Rambo discussed actions that can currently be taken in cases of patent violations, through the federal district courts and the United States International Trade Commission.
