A graduate of Georgetown University and Cathedral College of the Immaculate Conception, Allmen claims a deep knowledge of theology, psychology, and philosophy that he brings to bear in his extensive work with the community as well as the wedding ceremonies he performs for couples across the Northeastern U.S. In addition to traditional Catholic weddings, Robert Allmen performs contemporary and interfaith ceremonies. Allmen also conducts unity candle or sand ceremonies and family medallion ceremonies for couples who have children from prior marriages. He also performs joint ceremonies with rabbis, in which both read and deliver sermons and carry out their respective traditions, including, on the rabbi’s side, the breaking of the glass and the Kiddush cup. Robert Allmen requires a $500 ceremony fee, including a $200 deposit. The fee is tax-deductible and goes toward supporting the church. In addition to performing weddings, Robert Allmen works as Executive Director of the Family Counseling Center, where for 25 years he has provided services to families, women, and children in need. He continues to reach out toward individuals who have been disillusioned by institutional religion, as well. For his efforts, Allmen has earned listing in the Who’s Who in Human Resources for more than 20 years and is a Fellow with the American Orthopsychiatric Association. Allmen is also a member in good standing of the National Association of Wedding Officiants. Robert Allmen's SchoolsRobert Allmen's Companies
