Robert
Atcheson

Robert Atcheson has worked for the citizens of the United States for nearly three decades.

Robert Atcheson, a resident of Washington, D.C., has traveled all over the United States and several countries throughout the world. In addition to East Coast states such as Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts, Atcheson has also travelled frequently to the heartland states of Kansas and Iowa and Southern states such as Texas and Florida. Robert Atcheson has also visited the European countries of the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland as well as travels across Canada and the tropical destinations of Bermuda, the Caribbean islands, and Ecuador.

Robert Atcheson lived in Reykjavik, Iceland and Brasilia, Brazil, during his service in the military (USMC). After working as a Marine Security Guard (MSG) at the U.S. Embassy in both cities, Atcheson was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. Currently the Administrative Captain of the Sixth District with the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), he formerly held positions within the MPD in the Joint Fugitive Task Force (JFTF) and Special Operations Division.

In his spare time, Robert Atcheson works to benefit his community, including volunteering at St. Peter’s Church of Capitol Hill (DC) for a variety of events; in the past, he was very active in various fundraising activities for the benefit of St. Peter’s Interparish School. In an effort to give back to families of officers killed in the line of duty, he serves as a contributor and a fundraising campaign coordinator for Honor Every Responsible Officer’s Eternal Sacrifice, also known as HEROES, Inc. He also donates to ChildFund International and Feeding America.
