Bob Manza is the Chief Financial Officer for Global IT at PepsiCo, where he has held a range of positions since 1993. Bob Manza is member of the Financial Executive Institute of Dallas and serves on the board of Junior Achievement of Dallas. In 1983, Bob Manza earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance at the University of Michigan. Upon graduation, Bob Manza accepted the position of Senior Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, a post he held until 1988. In 1986, Bob Manza enrolled in the Master of Business Administration program at the University of Detroit Mercy. He studied corporate finance in the evenings while working full-time at PricewaterhouseCoopers and raising a family. After receiving his MBA, Bob Manza was given the role of Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Madrid office, and then promoted to Senior Audit Manager for the company’s New York office, where he worked from 1991 until 1993. Bob Manza joined PepsiCo International in 1993, serving over the course of five years as the Assistant Controller for Latin America, the Controller for PepsiCo subsidiary Gamesa in Mexico, and the Director of Planning for Latin America. In June 1998, Bob Manza was promoted to Chief Financial Officer for Latin America. In 2000, Bob Manza left PepsiCo temporarily to accept the position of Chief Financial Officer for U.S. Groups at Gateway, a consumer electronics firm. He returned to PepsiCo in 2002, as Vice President and Controller for subsidiary Frito-Lay North America, and was promoted within two years to Group Vice President of Supply Chain Finance. In these positions, Bob Manza was responsible for all of Frito-Lay’s financial activities, managing a total operations budget of approximately $4.7 billion and sales of approximately $2 billion. Bob Manza was promoted to his current position of Chief Financial Officer for Global IT in 2008. In addition to planning and implementing IT accounting strategies for PepsiCo’s global operations, Bob Manza oversees a budget of $1.5 billion annually and reports directly to PepsiCo’s CFO and CIO.
