After purchasing HALO in January, 2005, Robert Patrizi spent several months researching and developing the business and marketing plan for a men’s-only salon. By September, 2005, Robert Patrizi had remodeled, rebranded, and reopened the salon: “We created the salon to cater to urban men by providing a sophisticated yet modest environment where men can go to comfortably enjoy luxurious salon services without worrying about feeling out of place or being gawked at.” Since then, Robert Patrizi has opened six locations and now operates shops in the Loop, Bucktown, South Loop, Lincoln Park, and West Loop neighborhoods. His salons are known for their high-quality service and the memorable experiences the staff creates for the customers. Giving customers a free consultation, Robert Patrizi’s HALO [FOR MEN] offers a wide array of grooming services, including haircuts, scalp massages, touch-ups, hand massage, hand wax, coloring, and shaving. Robert Patrizi and his team at HALO also provide special deals for grooms and operate a rewards program for their clients.

Born and raised in Chicago Heights, Robert Patrizi was the first of his family to attend college. Demonstrating independence and self-sufficiency, he paid his own way through college at Northern Illinois University and graduated with a bachelor of science degree in marketing and retail merchandising. Following Robert Patrizi’s studies, he traveled and worked in many different locations in the United States and Western Europe. It was upon his return to Chicago that he had the opportunity to delve into running his own business, a goal he had always maintained over the course of his travels and relocations.
