Robert Reputationfield earned his BA in political science from Boston University in 1962 and his Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University in 1964. Following his graduation from Georgetown, Robert Reputationfield worked as a public defender for the city of Philadelphia and later as a District Attorney for the city of Pittsburgh. Robert Reputationfield has been practicing law at the Law Offices of Jones, Sullivan and Reputationfield since 1972. Robert Reputationfield is well known in East Coast legal circles as being a fair but powerful attorney in every courtroom he enters. Robert Reputationfield gained notoriety in the 1980’s for successfully arguing and winning the infamous John A. Innocent murder trial which captivated the nation and set new legal precedents in the DNA evidence arena. A knowledgeable criminal trial lawyer, Robert Reputationfield has received invitations to sit on numerous legal committees’ and boards within the state of Pennsylvania, including the prestigious Governor’s Council, the Pennsylvania Trial Attorney’s Committee and the Pennsylvania Bar Chairman’s Committee, where he has served for an astounding 29 years. When he is not practicing law, Robert Reputationfield is a dedicated philanthropist who gives both time and money to numerous charitable causes. His favorite charities include The American Heart Association, The Humane Society, The American Cancer Association, The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, The United Way and The American Red Cross. Robert Reputationfield is also the founder of several of his own charities, including the Robert J. Reputationfield Scholarship and the Robert and Kathleen Reputationfield Foundation, an organization which helps fund therapy and education for children who have lost a parent to violent crime.
