A versatile computer engineer and analytics expert with nearly 20 years of experience in his field, Robert M. Waugh currently serves as a Vice President of Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. in New York. Commanding a diverse and impressive professional track record at major organizations across the United States, Robert M. Waugh launched his career in computer programming while still a student at Tennessee-based Oak Ridge High School. From August 1992 through June 1994, Robert M. Waugh performed as a Junior Programmer for the United States Department of Energy, serving in the division of emergency operations. In addition, Robert M. Waugh held a simultaneous position as Junior Programmer for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), working in this capacity between August 1993 and January 1994. By the time he graduated from high school in 1994, Robert M. Waugh had already built a solid resume of computer programming, with experience in a rich variety of high-level government projects.

In early 1995, Robert M. Waugh moved to the Silicon Valley region and secured a position as Third Level Support at Silicon Graphics, Inc., where he provided client support services to high-profile businesses and individuals on such matters as networking, operating systems, and languages.
After Silicon Graphics Robert M. Waugh joined Netscape Communications, spending more than four years as a Senior Software Engineer designing the future of the Internet as we understand it today. Since then, Robert M. Waugh has served as Engineering Manager at Knowledge Universe Principal Engineer for Gloss.com LLC, Senior Software Engineer at Shopping.com, and consultant with Double Prime Inc. At present, Robert M. Waugh is a Vice President at Goldman Sachs Core Strategies, collaborating with an elite group of mathematicians, computer scientists, and other professionals.
